Elijah was such a good boy today. He got his hair cut, went shopping, napped for about 30-40 minutes in the car, had lunch then went shopping again. However, the restaurant we went to lunch at was AWESOME.
It is called Choo-Choo Johnny's. And some brilliant person out there must have had a boy that was in love with trains because this place is fantastic for kids between 18 months and 6 years. The overall restaurant, Eh but Elijah loved it and that is what was cool. There is a suspended train that drives around the entire diner set up with a model train set in the corner with a town and two trains that when you press the button the trains go. In the center of the diner are two large oval tracks that have a counter attached to it. You sit at the counter like a soda shop and you order your food with your engineer. Then when your food is ready the engineer will blow the really cool train whistle and out comes a freight train with your food on it. Elijah loved it. Every time the train whistle would blow his eyes would get as big as saucers and he would make a huge OH face and start searching to see who was going to get their food next.
Down fall, so many cool trains and things it was real hard to get Elijah to actually eat his lunch. Plus the food wasn't anything special, just diner food but like I said, Elijah loved the trains and I would eat there again just to see his face when the train whistle would blow again.

Yeah, and that new camera - where WAS it. The rest of us might like to see his face too!
Looks like the train set is ready to come up out of the storage trunk in the basement next Christmas.
Definitly!! It was great. And mom, I wouldn't have thought to bring any camera to lunch and shoping. :) I had no clue what this place was about.
