New Townhouse

Okay so buying a house/townhouse is probably the one most stressful thing I have done in my life. Most of you out there are probably like okay whatever, you just got married, wasn't that stressful. Well yes but that decision was an easy one. And it was a one time price. I mean yes it was spread out over time, but i am not paying the florist every month. Even though it has been a stressful two weeks, I haven't yet regretted the decision yet so I will fill you in on our new place.

First of all it is a townhouse so of course we are attached to other people. We have a two car attached garage, two bedrooms with a loft about the same size as the smaller bedroom (that is going to be the craft area), a large kitchen and eating area, a living room with a lofted ceiling and an alcove space that we will be making into our office. We have a laundry room and 2 and a half bathrooms. We are upgrading by almost 1100 square feet in our new home, but i think a lot of that is because we are getting a garage. We are going to have a whole extra bathroom and two extra rooms to put stuff in.

While we were in our apartment we decided it would not be a good idea to spend energy on decorating the place. So now that we will be moving into a new place, one that we own, I want to decorate. BJ has a good eye for design due to his art background, however, I think we will still new help with decorating if anyone wants to offer there expertise.

A Tribute to Elvira!

So in case there are some of you reading this that did not know, we name our cars. Elvira was the name of our Focus. Tonight we sold her. So now we are down to Beguira (Mazda 626) and Miki (Nissan Altima).



Elvira here's a look back on our good times.



- When I drove you off the lot the first day



- Remember the first week when we were driving to Kelly's and we almost hit a skunk, that was when your name almost ended up as Pepe Le Peu



- You kept us warm while we "talked"



- All the trips to Augustana



- Your "cruise control", oh yeah it didn't work



- The drive up to Stevens Point that we decided to go for a "spin" literally only we ended up in a ditch and had to be towed out!



- Delivering me safely to any event for our wedding



- Long nights and early mornings



- The way you cried everytime I washed you or drove you in heavy rain (leaky windshield)



- Your first pair of new shoes! Aquatreds baby!!



- Your implants!!! Nothing beats upgraded headlights!



- The day you officially became ours when recieved the title in the mail.



- The morning you decided you didn't want to start because your ticker (battery) stopped working.



- The night you left in good hands!!

Word of the day is SNOW

Due to the snow i saw 3 out of my scheduled 12 children today. Sucky! There is consistently 2 inches of snow covering the roads. Doesn't matter what road but it is covered by snow. The worst part about it all, the snow is that flaky stuff that doesn't pack to make a snowman, cuz that would make it all better if we could make a snow man.

I Suck Do you still read?

I know I suck a lot. What can I say. I havn't updated my blog in about um a million years. Sorry. Do you want to hear excusses? Well since you are reanding my blog you will have to read the excusess cuz that is what I am writing about. Okay so first of all, I stopped living off of my computer. Once I graduated I found that the amount of free time I once had left me and gave me adult responsibilities like cleaning, cooking and working. With all of these at hand when I get home frm work I just want to eat and sleep. Okay, the the other reason, my O button does not work out so well so unless I hit the button a million times i get no "O". In ther wrds this is what it wuld lk like with out the "" buttn wrking prperly. Sorta sucks doesn't it.

I pleg to try and do better with my bloging in the next couple of months.
