I saw an Epiglottis

Elijah's Epiglottis to be exact. It was so weird. At first I almost freaked out because it looks crazy weird in the back of the throat, but then all the years/hours I spent hunched over an anatomy book did I realize what it was. However, in all the pictures in the books this is what it looked like:

Now you can kinda see why I freaked out. I mean it looks like there is something sitting on the back of the tongue and he was making gagging sounds like he was choking. That's why I freaked out.
